Transfer DVD Movies to the iPhone SE or 9.7-inch iPad Pro for Watching on the Road

In March this year Apple added two new members to the iOS family – the iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7’’. The iPhone SE works well for those who have a persistent pursuit of one-handed operation and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is appropriate for those who like the 12.9-inch iPad Pro but are daunted by its high price.

If you have just bought an iPhone SE or 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and want to move some nice DVD movies to it so that you can enjoy them on your way to work or school, here I will show you how to rip videos from DVDs and save them in MP4 container format (H.264 codec) that is playable by the iPhone SE or 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Step 1: Download and install Tipard DVD ripper, which is capable of bypassing copy protections on DVD-Video discs to convert the videos to almost all current popular video formats like MP4, M4V, MKV, WebM VP9, MOV, WMV, etc.

Step 2: Load DVD. Place the desired DVD into your computer’s DVD drive, launch the Tipard DVD ripper and then click the “Load Disc” button to import title(s) from the DVD to the application. Loading DVD Folders and IFO files from hard drive is also supported.

Step 3: Select the “H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Video (*.mp4)” format for your output video file by clicking the “Profile:” pull-down menu. Choose this format because the MP4 container is supported by virtually all mobile media devices and the H.264 is today’s most efficient video encoder. In addition, if you are an advanced user, you can click the “Settings” button to customize the output video’s quality and size.

Step 4: Initialize the conversion by clicking the bright blue “Convert” button in the lower-right of the main window.

Once the conversion is completed, click the “Open Folder” button the find the resulting MP4 file and transfer it to your iPhone SE or 9.7-inch iPad Pro via iTunes.
