Free to Recover Lost Data from CD, DVD, Blu-ray Discs

Here are three common data loss scenarios on optical media (CD’s/DVD’s/Blu-ray’s):

  • The disc gets unreadable due to the physical defects such as scratches, chips, different spots on the surface.
  • An error occurs during the video recording or disc finalizing process in DVD camcorders.
  • Improper or incorrect operations when writing/burning data to a disc like using different burning software in the same disc burning task, accidently erasing the existing data on the disc, etc.

If your valuable data such as family videos & photos, work documents, etc. stored on CD’s/DVD’s/Blu-ray’s was lost in the three ways above, before you turn to the high-priced data recovery services I suggest you try to recover them by your own hands with the CD Recovery Toolbox which is a freeware designed for recovering data on CD’s/DVD’s/Blu-ray’s lost due to physical disc damages and incorrect disc burnings. There is no guarantee that CD Recovery Toolbox will retrieve your lost files, but you’ll never know unless you try.

Want to rip a DVD to iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and other models? Here is a simple, fast DVD Ripper & Converter application.

Step 2. Launch this Toolbox, select the drive with your corrupted disc and then click Next.

Step 3. Select target directory where the recovered files will be saved to on your hard drive, and then click Next. The additional information of the source drive and target drive, including Disk Label, Disk Size, Drive Type, Free Space, and FAT Type, are displayed. Ensure there is adequate space on target drive for saving the recovered files.
